I'd like to know how to set an entity on fire when I hurt it. It is for the next update of my "SUPER_COOL_OP_ITEMS" mod.
just give the item the enchantment fire aspect.
I mean like giving you a renamed item and using an event handler function to set the entity on fire when you hit it.
non-weapon items can have the enchantment to.
I mean setting entities on fire with a non-enchanted weapon, like using an event function.
You could do something like this:
This mod will set the entity; the player hits; on fire for 100 ticks (Minecraft timer).
Can't wait for the next update!
I am running into some trouble with the update... here is the code so far: http://mod.learntomod.com/programs/mineCraft67-SUPER_COOL_OP_ITEMS?remix=mineCraft67-SUPER_COOL_OP_ITEMS&fullscreen=true&language=blocklythe spiders seem to be spawning in an infinite loop and level four keeps repeating. It lagged so much it crashed my computer
I actually decided to go with the command. I am also making a separate mod which just adds the fire sword. Thanks for the tip anyways!!
Would this mod work for a fire sword mod? http://mod.learntomod.com/programs/Awesomeness2005-fire_sword?remix=Awesomeness2005-fire_sword&fullscreen=true&language=blockly
Yes, that would work.
@mineCraft67 in the live stream i saw that the names of the items were in italics which mean they were renamed and if you dont want it to look like that then you could get a library made by me by puting this in a import block: coehlrich-text_format then going to the functions then going to the bottom and geting out the formatting code function and puting a text block in the extension and putting reset at the start of the name of the item which makes it look like it has not be named or you could copy and paste this: §r but the first letter isn't on a normal keyboard.
