Forge won't load my mod (Closed: make multiplayer mods instead)

So I spent all day coding my mod. Yet forge won't even let me test it! I have found lectures on Creating blocks on this website and checked my code and It should work but It won't work! If you know the answer please reply....

Weird! First, can you confirm that you followed these steps?

Watch this video first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNKWiVIjmKE Then the client installer is located here: http://mod.learntomod.com/page/client-download/ You'll find installation instructions on that page - it'll step you through how to download forge 1.8.8 (if you don't already have it) and the .jar file.

Finally, did you create a mod with the "Singleplayer" option?

Ok so you're using forge 1.8.8? What kind of model of computer or desktop are you using, and os? I think the client side mod hasn't been updated in a while.

I'll ask our Development team if they have time or manpower to look into it - since they're a small development team, their main focus is on keeping the website, badges, simulator and minecraft servers working - the client side mod is kind of an extra-if-they-have-time-project.

Is your mod named 'citrine'? I notice that all of the custom item blocks are given the same texture pack domain which is "citrine". I'm not certain, but I think each custom item should have its own unique texture pack domain. That is, you may need to create a different texture (each will have a different texture name) for each custom item.

off of the forge topic just a wonder @sandcastlewizard do you know how to make armor?

I do know that armor is divided into different parts in minecraft - in the texture editor you'll see that there's a different texture for boots, chestplate, helmet, etc. All of those combined will make a full suit of armor.
