Minecraft 1.9.2 is now out and will now work with our new LearnToMod servers (via the Server Instances page). It won't work on the play.learntomod.com server which has been phased out by now.
Additionally, version 1.9 will still work! Unless you see any error messages, you may want to continue using 1.9.
If you want to move to version 1.9.2:
First, login to the Minecraft launcher installed on your computer.
Step 1: Click Installations then + New. If you're at the title screen, then click Options then Installations then +New
Step 2: Scroll down the dropdown menu until you see release 1.9 or 1.9.2 and change the [version] select to "release 1.9.2" and in the name field type 1.9.2. The other fields can be left blank.
Step 3: Click the Create button. Then mouse hover over your newly created 1.9.2 profile and press the green play button
Finally, go back to your LearnToMod homepage on the LearnToMod website, and click the green square. Then press the start server button to get a new temporary 10-15 minute ip.
Using an older minecraft launcher?
The steps are: Click the [Launch Options] button on the upper corner of the launcher and hit then [Add New]. Name the profile 1.9.2 then select the version to "release 1.9.2", and hit [Save]. Click the x to the right of the Minecraft logo, then click on the green rectangle to the right of the green "PLAY" button and select 1.9.2.
If you can't find "Installations" or "Launch Options" on your Minecraft launcher, then most likely you have an incompatible version. Here's how to get a compatible version of Minecraft. OR you can just use the simulator and not use Minecraft at all.
We are planning on updating the servers to work with newer versions, but are still uncertain how long it will take.
